What is a wiki?

A wiki is software that allows users to create, edit, and link web pages easily. Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites. These wiki websites are often also referred to as wikis; for example, Wikipedia is often considered one of the best known wikis. Wikis are being installed by businesses to provide affordable and effective Intranets and for Knowledge Management. Ward Cunningham, developer of the first wiki, WikiWikiWeb, originally described it as "the simplest online database that could possibly work".

Job Interview Competition

Our Chapter of the FFA particaptes annually in this competition. The kids submit a resume and cover letter a few weeks before the event. At the event, they are interviewed by a panel of three judges at a time. Points are given for different aspects of the interview, including filling out each part of the application, their resume, their answers to questions, etc. You'll find a Job Interview help sheet in the Files portion of this site.
